Bringing Light chronicles the Richard Chandler Corporation's vision to change the path of humanity. Our mission, Building Prosperity for Tomorrow's World, captures our unique understanding that by building prosperity, rather than alleviating poverty, we will create a new world that is flourishing with everyone's creativity.

We realised that traditional approaches to poverty alleviation have often failed to achieve significant and sustainable progress. Fresh thinking was necessary. We went back into history in search of greater understanding and a simple idea that would unlock a new question. This unique understanding opened the door to a new strategy: Building Prosperity for Tomorrow's World. History shows us that creative societies are prosperous societies. The solution to poverty is neither aid nor charity nor performance philanthropy. Instead of focusing on poverty, we realised that it was time to focus on prosperity.

Our search for the right question led us to our most audacious goal: ‘How can we make a transformation?’ The answer to this question is to build a new world of prosperity, one that is flourishing with everyone's creativity. We seek to improve the lives of millions and transform the destiny of mankind. We define transformation as a difference that is both meaningful in scale and global impact.

Such a transformation would only start by connecting top-down thinking with bottom-up understanding. It would start by seeing people as customers who knew what they needed but lacked access to affordable services, such as education and healthcare. By building the foundations for creativity and prosperity, we will enable infinite possibilities and allow individuals and societies to reach their fullest potential. In so doing, we ignite a golden age of creativity and create a better and more peaceful future for all.
